HOUSE BILL 38

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

     1. On page 7, line 9, before the period, insert "and leave compensation payments".

 

     2. On page 7, line 13, before "net", insert "annual".

 

     3. On page 7, line 14, strike "annual earnings" and insert in lieu thereof "income".

 

     4. On page 10, line 19, strike "obtain" and insert in lieu thereof "commence" and strike "any".

 

     5. On page 10, line 20, before "during", insert "related to work performed by the individual".

 

     6. On page 12, line 2, before "employee", insert "eligible" and before "as", insert "whose claim has been approved".

 

     7. On page 12, line 12, before "employee's", insert "eligible".

 

     8. On page 12, line 16, strike "employee's".

 

     9. On page 13, lines 16 and 17, strike "employee's average net income per week" and insert in lieu thereof "self-employed individual's net income per week".

 

     10. On page 14, line 10, strike "earned gross income" and insert in lieu thereof "net income".

 

     11. On page 23, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following new subsection:

 

"C. The administrative penalties collected by the department pursuant to Subsections A and B of this section shall be deposited into the fund.".

 

     12. On pages 23 and 24, strike Section 12 in its entirety.

 

     13. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.,

 

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
