HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 276

Amendment sponsored by Representative Jason C. Harper

    1. On page 1, lines 20 and 21, strike "and takes place within one hundred feet of the property line of that person's residence".

    2. On page 1, line 25, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof a colon, and before "picketing", insert the paragraph designation "(1)".

    3. On page 2, line 1, strike "intended to apprise" and insert in lieu thereof "that apprises".

    4. On page 2, line 4, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof "; and".

    5. On page 2, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following new paragraph:

             "(2) "residence" means a single-family or multifamily dwelling unit that is not being used as a place of public meeting.".
