has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 20, after the subsection designation "A.", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 21 in its entirety and strike line 22 through the period.

    2. On page 2, line 3, after the period, strike the remainder of the line, strike line 4 in its entirety and strike line 5 through the period.

    3. On page 2, line 8, after the period, strike the remainder of the line and strike lines 9 through 11 in their entirety.

    4. On page 3, line 6, remove the brackets and line through "federal" and before "state", insert a comma.

    5. On page 4, line 2, strike "twice" and insert in lieu thereof "twenty-four times".

    6. On page 4, line 3, after "prevailing", insert "federal,".

    7. On page 4, line 4, after "highest", insert "for each day or portion of a day of incarceration".

    8. On page 6, line 1, strike "sixteen" and insert in lieu thereof "twenty-four".

    9. On page 6, line 1, remove the brackets and line through "federal" and before "state", insert a comma.

    10. On page 14, lines 14 through 20, strike Section 8 in its entirety.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
