AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR PROGRAMS THAT DEPLOY MOBILE UNITS IN CERTAIN COUNTIES TO PROVIDE RURAL HEALTH SERVICES AND EVIDENCE-BASED, PEER- SUPPORTED SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER RECOVERY SERVICES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2022 and subsequent fiscal years for programs that deploy mobile units in Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, Los Alamos, Taos, Colfax and Mora counties to provide rural health services and evidence-based, peer-supported substance use disorder recovery services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
