Mr. President:

    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 2, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. Strike House Appropriations and Finance Committee Amendments 6 and 7.

    2. On page 2, lines 8 through 11, strike Subsection B in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new subsection:

         "B. two million dollars ($2,000,000) to the teacher loan repayment fund to carry out the provisions of the Teacher Loan Repayment Act;".

    3. On page 2, line 18, strike "orphan well planning and implementation" and insert in lieu thereof "orphan and inactive well planning, identification and program implementation".
