    Your HEALTH AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 248

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 25 through page 2, line 6, strike Subsection A in its entirety.

    2. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

    3. On page 3, line 19, strike the subsection designation "A.".

    4. On page 3, line 25 through page 4, line 2, strike Subsection B up to the closing quotation mark.

    5. On page 4, line 8, remove the brackets and line through "at such" and strike the underscored language.

    6. On page 4, line 12, strike the underscored language and insert in lieu thereof "as determined by the clerk of the probate court and published on the county's website.".

    7. On page 10, line 18, strike "a".

    8. On page 10, line 19, strike "clerk" and insert in lieu thereof "clerks".

    9. On page 10, line 25, before the comma, insert "who shall have the power to appoint deputy clerks".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
