    Your HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 34

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

1. On page 1, line 25, after "a", insert "level two or".

 

    2. On page 2, line 1, strike the semicolon, strike the

remainder of the line, strike line 2 and strike line 3 through the period and insert in lieu thereof a period and:

 

"If a school district or charter school does not have a level

two or level three school nurse to perform the mentorship and

evaluation for a level one school nurse, the school district or charter school shall defer to the department of health for

guidance.".

 

    3. On page 5, line 3, strike "school".

 

    4. On page 5, line 17, after "years", insert "or has at least three years of registered nursing experience".,

 

and thence referred to the EDUCATION COMMITTEE.
