    Your ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 184

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

     1. On page 2, line 22, strike "On" and insert in lieu thereof "Except as provided in Subsection C of this section, on".

 

     2. On page 3, line 1, strike the closing quotation mark and between lines 1 and 2, insert:

 

          "C. On July 1, 2026, a distribution shall be made from the permanent fund to the land of enchantment legacy fund in an amount equal to five percent of the average year-end market value of the permanent fund for the preceding two calendar years."".

 

     3. On page 5, line 23, strike "at" and insert in lieu thereof "three fiscal years after" and on lines 23 and 24, strike "following the fiscal year".,

 

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS & FINANCE COMMITTEE.
