The LFC Program Evaluation Unit conducts independent, in-depth studies of state government programs and agencies to determine whether the taxpayers’ dollars are being spent effectively and efficiently. The studies assess whether an agency or program is performing as intended and provide practical, actionable recommendations for the Legislature and the agency to improve results for New Mexicans.
This dashboard tracks the recommendations made to the Legislature since 2015, including statutory changes or budget recommendations, and their implementation. While this dashboard highlights only recommendations made to the Legislature, the Program Evaluation Unit periodically publishes progress reports to track the implementation of recommendations made to state agencies through progress reports, published on the LFC’s website.
Recommendations with no recorded status are counted as Not Implemented. See methodology below.
