MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCER DETECTION AND CONTROL PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to support a breast and cervical cancer detection and control program of direct health care services for women who are diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
