MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CANCER PATIENT SUPPORT SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to provide or contract for a prostate cancer program for the early detection of and the provision of public information about the disease. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
