AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROMOTE E-COMMERCE SALES OF SMALL AGRICULTURAL PRODUCER PRODUCTS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of the New Mexico department of agriculture establishing an e-commerce assistance program for small agricultural producers to market their products on the internet. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
