AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A MULTIJURISDICTIONAL MASTER PLAN FOR THE EAST MOUNTAINS AND ESTANCIA BASIN REGION.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to develop a multijurisdictional comprehensive master plan for the east mountains and Estancia basin region of Santa Fe, Bernalillo and Torrance counties, including land use, water, roads and other planning areas. The middle Rio Grande council of governments shall serve as project manager for the master plan. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
