AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND AN INFORMATIONAL PROCESS, DEVELOP BASIC PROVISIONS AND COMPLETE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT AND INTERESTED TRIBES IN NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to fund an informational process, develop basic provisions and complete intergovernmental agreements pursuant to Section 32A-1-8 NMSA 1978 between the children, youth and families department and tribes interested in entering into agreements with the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
