Mr. President:

Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO NOT PASS, but that

DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 23, strike "share" and insert in lieu thereof "shared".

2. On page 30, after line 25, insert the following section:

"Section 26. ORDINANCES EXISTING BEFORE OCTOBER 1, 1991.--Any public employer other than the state that prior to October 1, 1991, adopted by ordinance, resolution or charter amendment a system of provisions and procedures permitting public safety employees to form, join or assist any labor organization for the purpose of bargaining collectively through exclusive representatives may continue to operate under those provisions and procedures.".

3. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
