AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SERVICES IN THE NAVAJO COMMUNITIES OF THE STATE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 to contract for emergency management services in the Navajo communities of the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
