AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE FUNDING OF THE RIO GRANDE-RIO BRAVO BASIN PROGRAM 2000 SMITHSONIAN FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 by the southwest Hispanic research institute of art for the purpose of funding the Rio Grande-Rio Bravo basin program 2000 Smithsonian folklife festival. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
