STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN ELEPHANT BUTTE IN SIERRA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for a regional wastewater treatment plant study for Elephant Butte in Sierra county;

to the state highway and transportation department

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) for street improvements to Odessa street in Elephant Butte in Sierra county;

one hundred forty-eight thousand dollars ($148,000) to plan, design and construct improvements to Water street in Elephant Butte in Sierra county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to make improvements, which may include paving, drainage, curbs, gutters and sidewalks, on Trinity avenue in Elephant Butte in Sierra county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for a flood and storm drainage study for Elephant Butte in Sierra county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a municipal building for Elephant Butte in Sierra county.
