SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 157

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES IN SIERRA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for phase 1 of the senior center meal site expansion project in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

to the department of environment

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to continue phase 2 of the effluent water reuse for irrigating city parks and golf courses in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to plan, design and construct five new water storage tanks for Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to pave the parking lot at the fire department in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county; and

to the state department of public education

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for educational technology at the Truth or Consequences municipal school district in Sierra county.
