SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 256

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN JAL IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

three hundred ninety-three thousand dollars ($393,000) to engineer and drill for a new water well in Jal in Lea county; and

one million eighty-seven thousand two hundred dollars ($1,087,200) to engineer, replace and upgrade the water transmission line from the well field to the city limits of Jal in Lea county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase and install a national crime information teletype for the city police in Jal in Lea county; and

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for landscaping and equipment at the cemetary in Jal in Lea county.
