FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 7.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

one hundred four thousand nine hundred dollars ($104,900) to construct, equip and furnish the senior center in Des Moines in Union county; and

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) for construction of the senior center annex in Cimarron in Colfax county;

to the department of environment

one hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) to replace water wells for the city of Tucumcari in Quay county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to study, plan and design a sewer system for the village of Logan in Quay county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for improvements to the water system in Mosquero in Harding county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to clean up the old sewer lagoons in Angel Fire in Colfax county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for a new water treatment plant in the town of Springer in Colfax county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to design, construct and inspect improvements to the sewer and water systems in Eagle Nest in Colfax county; and

one hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) to replace water lines in Grady in Curry county;

to the state highway and transportation department

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to improve Conchas Dam road in San Miguel county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for drainage and road improvements on Brady avenue in Curry county; and

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for widening west Twenty-first street from Gerry to Martin Luther King, Jr. boulevard in Clovis in Curry county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for adding fields to the municipal baseball complex in Raton in Colfax county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to purchase land for a veterans cemetery, contingent upon a match of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) from the private sector, in the Moreno valley next to the Vietnam memorial in Colfax county;

seventy-two thousand eight hundred dollars ($72,800) to expand, including landscaping and drainage, a multiservice center for youth in Raton in Colfax county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to renovate the courthouse in Raton in Colfax county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for a sprinkler system, grass and other improvements at recreational fields and parks in the village of Maxwell in Colfax county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to repair the roof and renovate the old national guard armory in Clayton in Union county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to continue upgrading the electrical and plumbing systems at the Union county courthouse in Clayton;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for an addition at the convention and community center in Raton in Colfax county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to plan, design and construct a public swimming pool in Clayton in Union county, contingent upon the passage of an eight hundred thousand dollar ($800,000) bond issue in Union county;

one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) to replace the heating system in the Harding county courthouse;

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to purchase a new ambulance for the village of House in Quay county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for an emergency services building in San Jon in Quay county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to equip the recreation center in the city of Tucumcari in Quay county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for the Arch Hurley conservancy district to replace equipment in Tucumcari in Quay county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to plan, design and construct a primary care unit in Quay county; and

fourteen thousand dollars ($14,000) to purchase and install fire hydrants in Conchas Dam in San Miguel county;

to the governing board of Mesa technical college

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to complete the Mesalands dinosaur museum at Mesa technical college in Tucumcari in Quay county; and

to the state department of public education

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to improve the track and upgrade and improve facilities at the athletic fields in the Springer municipal school district in Colfax county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for barns at the vocational agricultural farm in the Clovis municipal school district in Curry county;

forty-two thousand five hundred dollars ($42,500) for a greenhouse in the Tucumcari public school district in Quay county; and

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to improve the recreational fields, including purchasing and installing lighting, at Logan high school in the Logan municipal school district in Quay county.
