STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 28.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) for constructing, equipping and remodeling a building in Socorro in Socorro county;

to the office of the state engineer

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for flood control and the development of a flood plain in Socorro county; and

to the board of regents of western New Mexico university

one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) for completing the athletic complex at western New Mexico university in Silver City in Grant county.
