Synopsis of Bill



House Bill 43 establishes a circuit court for the Santa Teresa port of entry. A judge from the magistrate court serving the Doña Ana district would ride circuit to Hatch and the Santa Teresa port of entry on a regularly scheduled basis.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



House Bill 43 appropriates $42.0 in recurring general fund to the Administrative Office of the Courts to pay costs associated with establishing a circuit court.
