AN ACT

MAKING GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES BY STATE AGENCIES REQUIRED BY LAW.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. SHORT TITLE.--This act may be cited as the General Appropriation Act of 2000.

Section 2. APPROPRIATION--LEGISLATIVE.--One million two hundred eighty-seven thousand dollars ($1,287,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the legislative council service for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of paying personal services for employees in the legislative maintenance department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.

Section 3. APPROPRIATION--JUDICIAL.--Three hundred thirty-two thousand eight hundred dollars ($332,800) is appropriated from the general fund to the supreme court law library for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of paying personal services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.

Section 4. APPROPRIATION--EXECUTIVE.--Three hundred dollars ($300) is appropriated from the general fund to the energy conservation and management division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 for the purpose of maintenance and repairs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
