Mr. Speaker:

Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. Strike Senate Finance Committee Amendments 8, 9, 11, 12, 17 through 22, 31 through 38, 46 through 51 and 56.

2. Strike all Senate Floor amendments.

3. On page 89, between lines 20 and 21, insert "OFFICE OF AFRICAN AMERICAN AFFAIRS" and under the General Fund column insert "100.0".

4. On page 171, strike lines 8 through 10.

5. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.

6. On page 175, line 16, strike "To replace Smith and Wesson handguns with Glock handguns." and insert in lieu thereof "For the acquisition and implementation of a new firearms system.".

7. On page 176, between lines 11 and 12, insert the following item and insert the amount under the General Fund column:

"(56) OFFICE OF AFRICAN AMERICAN AFFAIRS 100.0

For start-up costs.".

8. On page 187, line 10, strike "STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION" and insert in lieu thereof "PUBLIC SCHOOL CAPITAL OUTLAY COUNCIL".

9. On page 187, line 11, strike "The appropriation is from cash balances." and insert in lieu thereof "The state department of public education shall transfer the amount of the appropriation from cash balances.".

10. Adjust all subtotals and totals accordingly.
