Mr. President:

Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, line 8, after "amended," strike the remainder of the line and strike all of lines 9 through 14 and insert in lieu thereof "as calculated pursuant to the provisions of that act.".

2. On page 3, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following new section:

"Section 2. CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE.--The provisions of this act shall not become effective unless Senate Bill 14 or Senate Bill 41 or a similar bill of the second special session of the forty-fourth legislature is enacted into law.".
