AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

A. Two million dollars ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2001 in the following amounts for the following purposes:

(1) one million dollars ($1,000,000) for cooperative advertising; and

(2) one million dollars ($1,000,000) for general advertising.

B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
