Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred



HOUSE BILL 110



has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:



1. On page 2, line 11, strike "divorce, separation," and insert in lieu thereof "dissolution of marriage, custody of a child when dissolution of a marriage is not an issue,".



2. On page 2, line 13, after "rights" insert "whether filed alone or with an adoption proceeding".



3. On page 12, strike line 21 and strike line 22 through "parent" and insert in lieu thereof "the child, or the child and one parent, or the child and a person acting as a parent do not".



4. On page 18, lines 24 and 25, strike "child has resided outside this state" and insert in lieu thereof "child's home state is or recently was another state".



5. On page 19, line 5, after "parties" insert "with respect to travel arrangements".



6. On page 19, line 9, after "pending" insert "custody".



7. On page 19, line 12, after the first occurrence of "the" insert "custody".



8. On page 19, strike lines 14 and 15 and insert in lieu thereof:



"(8) whether another state has a closer connection with the child or with the child and one or more of the parties, including whether the court of the other state is more familiar with the facts and issues in the pending litigation.".



9. On page 25, between lines 20 and 21, insert the following:



"(c) A court of this state may enforce a custody determination made pursuant to Sections 201 and 203 until it is modified by a court having jurisdiction pursuant to Sections 201 and 203.".
