AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STAFFING, STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND EQUIPMENT FOR PARA LOS NINOS PEDIATRIC SPECIALTY CLINIC AT THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF NEW MEXICO AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety-eight thousand dollars ($198,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to pay salaries and benefits to three full-time-equivalent positions, a physician, a program manager and a mental health therapist, and for staff development, moving expenses, computer technology and office equipment at para los ninos, a pediatric specialty clinic at the children's hospital of New Mexico at the university of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
