AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION TO DEVELOP A MODEL MUSEUM-BASED SUMMER DAY-CAMP PROGRAM IN SANTA FE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to develop in collaboration with the Santa Fe public schools a model museum-based community summer day-camp program at Agua Fria elementary school in Santa Fe. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
