AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY'S MASTER OF ARTS DEGREE PROGRAM IN DISTANCE EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to initiate a master of arts degree in distance education technology. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
