AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ASSIST CERTAIN LOW-INCOME DISABLED PERSONS TO FIND APPROPRIATE HOUSING.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governor's committee on concerns of the handicapped for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to create a plan to assist in the location of healthy housing for low-income disabled persons with environmental sensitivities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
