AN ACT

RELATING TO STATE PARKS; PROVIDING FOR AN ANNUAL CAMPING PASS FOR NEW MEXICO RESIDENTS AT STATE PARKS AND RECREATION AREAS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. STATE PARK ANNUAL PASS.--The state parks division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department shall sell an annual "camping pass" to residents of the state that may be used for day use or camping at state parks and recreation areas. The camping pass entitles the bearer to admission to all state parks and recreation areas for one year from the date of purchase. The camping pass may be used for a maximum of fourteen days of camping in a single state park or recreation area at any one time.
