HOUSE BILL 484



has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:





1. On page 1, line 11, strike "ONLY".



2. On page 1, line 13, before the period insert "AND ALLOWING ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES TO BE USED FOR IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING UP TO FORTY DAYS BEFORE AN ELECTION".



3. On page 3, lines 6 through 25 and page 4, lines 1 and 2, remove the bracket and line-through.



4. On page 4, strike line 3 and insert:

"F. Commencing with the twentieth".



5. On page 4, line 7, strike the period and insert "; provided, a county clerk may allow an absent voter to vote on an electronic voting machine beginning on the fortieth day before the election.".



6. On page 4, lines 7 through 14, strike the underscored language.



7. On page 4, line 19, strike the line through and bracketing and the underscored language.
