Mr. Speaker:

Your GOVERNMENT AND URBAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 535

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, lines 15 and 16, strike ", one of whom shall be a representative of municipal government,".

2. On page 2, between lines 20 and 21, insert a new Subsection B to read as follows:

"B. An employee of a municipal or county government that holds a permit or is an applicant for a permit may serve on the commission as a public representative pursuant to this section.".

3. Re-letter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

4. On page 2, line 24, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof a period.

5. On page 2, lines 24 and 25, strike "not including governmental holders of permits, and" and insert in lieu thereof "A member of the commission".
