MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS TO FUND THE COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-one thousand six hundred dollars ($71,600) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to fund the court appointed special advocates program statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
