AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DEVELOP A COMPREHENSIVE CURRICULUM AND TEACHING RESOURCES FOR ACOMA-KERES LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to contract for development of an Acoma-Keres language instruction curriculum, development of teaching resources and publication of the curriculum. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
