HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE BILL 766, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Representative James Roger Madalena

1. On page 6, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following section:

"Section 11. EXEMPTIONS.--Fossil fuel development and extraction shall not be subject to the provisions of the Fossil Protection Act.".

2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.

3. On page 7, line 8, strike "a first" and insert in lieu thereof "the".

4. On page 7, line 10, strike "a first" and insert in lieu thereof "the".

5. On page 7, line 15, strike "31-18-15" and insert in lieu thereof "31-19-1".
