has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 19, strike "FINDINGS--".

2. On page 1, line 20, strike "--APPROPRIATION".

3. On page 1, line 21, through page 2, line 9, strike Subsection A in its entirety.

4. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

5. On page 2, line 12, after "damage" strike the remainder of the line and strike line 13 through "areas".

6. On page 2, line 20, after "forester" insert "and the regional United States forester".

7. On page 2, line 24, strike "B" and insert in lieu thereof "A".

8. On page 3, line 4, after "subsection" strike the remainder of the line, insert in lieu thereof a period and strike all of lines 5 through 25 and on page 4, strike lines 1 through 4.,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
