Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, line 7, after "for" strike "certified school instructor" and insert in lieu thereof "degreed individuals pursuant to 22-10-3.5".

2. On page 2, line 10, after "program" strike "and coursework" and insert in lieu thereof "leading to alternative certification or certification of educational assistant".

3. On page 2, line 18, after "for" strike "certified school instructor" and insert in lieu thereof "degreed individuals pursuant to 22-10-3.5".

4. On page 2, line 21, after "program" strike "and coursework" and insert in lieu thereof "leading to alternative certification or certification of educational assistant".

5. On page 8, line 15, after "for" strike "certified school instructor" and insert in lieu thereof "degreed individuals pursuant to 22-10-3.5".

6. On page 8, line 16, after "assistant" insert a period and a closing quotation mark, strike the remainder of line 16 and line 17 in their entirety.,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
