MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TWELFTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR AN ADDITIONAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATOR.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-four thousand dollars ($54,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the twelfth judicial district attorney's office for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for a salary and benefits for an additional criminal investigator. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
