Mr. President:

Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. Strike Senate Public Affairs Committee Amendment 2.

2. On page 2, between lines 23 and 24, insert the following new subsection:

"E. A mall owner, manager, employee or an independent contractor of the mall owner is not liable for damages or compensation of any kind as a result of its reasonable compliance with a provision of this section or for loss or damages to a person that is caused by the negligence or intentional acts of a third person while that person is engaged in conduct the mall is required to permit pursuant to this section.".
