SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number __1____ to SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 167

Amendment sponsored by Senator Patrick H. Lyons

1. On page 21, between lines 6 and 7, insert the following new section:

"Section 9. A new section of the Public School Capital Outlay Act is enacted to read:

"[NEW MATERIAL] PUBLIC WORKS MINIMUM WAGE EXEMPTION.--A public school capital outlay project funded pursuant to the Public School Capital Outlay Act shall be exempt from the Public Works Minimum Wage Act if the total amount of the project is less than two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000)."".

2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
