AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR IMPLEMENTING AND OPERATING A PROGRAM FOR YOUTH EDUCATION IN PERFORMING ARTS IN A YEAR-ROUND PERFORMING ARTS SPACE IN SANTA FE COUNTY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for implementing and operating a program for youth education in performing arts, including staging, lighting, sound and technical production and participation in dance, orchestral, theatrical, operatic and small ensemble performances in a year-round performing arts space in Santa Fe county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
