AN ACT

MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR PROGRAMS AT WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATIONS.--

A. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for the following purposes:

(1) fifty-two thousand dollars ($52,000) to implement the authentic competency-based technology-enhanced integrated versatile evaluative curriculum; and

(2) eight hundred ninety thousand six hundred dollars ($890,600) to implement the integrated instructional network.

B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
