AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROMOTE NEW MEXICO AS A LOCATION FOR OUT-OF-STATE MOTION PICTURE PRODUCTION COMPANIES.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico film division of the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to promote New Mexico as a location for out-of-state motion picture production companies. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
