Mr. President:

Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 3, line 19, after "public" insert "and has such insurance or surety as is necessary to insure against all losses and damage proximately caused by or resulting from the negligent operation, maintenance or use of the school buses or for loss or damage to property of others".

2. On page 4, line 8, after "public" strike the remainder of the line and strike all of line 9 and insert in lieu thereof "and expected to attract over fifty thousand visitors and residents for which school buses are needed to transport the public to the event because:".

3. On page 4, line 14, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof "or".
