AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SANTA FE COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($170,000) TO FUND AN ALLIED HEALTH RESEARCH AND PUBLIC SERVICE PROJECT IN FISCAL YEAR 2002.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy thousand dollars ($170,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the community college board of Santa Fe community college for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for the college, in partnership with St. Vincent hospital, the public schools and the university of New Mexico, to develop an allied health research and public service project to provide quality certification and associate degree programs for hospital health care workers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
