AN ACT

RELATING TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR RESTORATION AND IMPROVEMENTS OF PART OF THE FORT STANTON COMPLEX NEAR RUIDOSO, NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the general services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for restoration and improvements to the corrals and stable areas of the Fort Stanton complex in Lincoln county so they may be included in local economic development efforts. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
