AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE BASIC HEALTH AND LEAVE BENEFITS TO EMPLOYEES OF CERTAIN PROVIDERS OF SENIOR CITIZEN PROGRAMS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thirty-nine thousand five hundred two dollars ($639,502) is appropriated from the general fund to the state agency on aging for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to provide employees of senior service providers with basic health and leave benefits. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
